Blue Lake

As the summer heat descends upon Oregon, we all begin to long for a fun day out by the water; however, having younger kids makes this really complicated. If you are looking for a day-long adventure by the water with your little ones, then Blue Lake Regional Park is the destination for you.

While this destination has something for everyone, it also features a gigantic playground made just for kids. Let your kids revel in a day full of frolic with a large nature-themed playground, a discovery garden, and even a spray ground. Beautiful water lilies and pink lotus bloom on the Blue Lake in the summer. If you do not have kids, or even if you just want some grown-up fun, Blue Lake also offers paddle boats, canoes, and rowboats for rent.

This summer spot also boasts of a gold-level, world-class, 18-hole disc golf course. As an alternative, you could also enjoy trout fishing, take a refreshing dip in the lake, relax on the beach or partake in sports such as volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball or even horseshoes.

Furthermore, if you are on the hunt for a beautiful wedding destination or even a location for a recital or a reception, then look no further than the Lake House. With all the beautiful scenic beauty all around, there really is no better option. There is no need to look beyond the Blue Lake for a relaxing summer day out - there really is something for everyone at the Blue Lake Recreational Area.
