A historic landmark in Northeastern Oregon, Cove Warm Springs is located in a small town of Cove in Union County. Large swimming pool, the picnic and playground facilities open for recreational swimming from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Warm Springs water flows at 110 gallons per minute, replacing water in the pool several times per day. The natural mineral springs are not steaming hot springs, having a temperature around 86°F (source and pool).
The pool is built over a mineral spring source, feeding directly from a 15x15-foot opening that looks like a dark patch on the pool's bottom. The Cove Warm Springs facility, operated continuously almost eight decades, offers senior citizen swim exercise classes.
