Here is my quick and to-the-point review of Garmin Fenix 7 Solar. Why quick? There is zero reason to keep you with me here for a 12-page, 30-minute read describing all the unit's features.

The device's GPS does what it is supposed to do: it GPSes you around (is it even the word?). However, certain features of the Fenix 7 make it worth buying over dozens of other similar devices.

Why Buy Garmin Fenix 7 Solar?

This is the best GPS (GLONASS and Galileo, too) smartwatch. It is designed for athletes and adventurers, from cross-fitters and surfers to trail runners and hikers.

In fact, this is THE BEST smartwatch you can buy.

Garmin Fenix 7 Solar is a Leatherman and Tesla of smartwatches. It replaces a bag full of tools and devices, all on your wrist.

Health and wellness monitor is the most impressive feature for me. It measures:

  • Heart Rate
  • Stress Levels
  • Sleeping Patterns
  • VO2 Max
    and more!

Once Garmin Fenix collects the data, it analyzes it and gives recommendations based on your goals (fat loss, triathlon preparation, etc.).

It even has a "Body Battery" indicator, showing how much energy you have to finish the day. And it is VERY accurate. Actually, kinda scary how accurate it is.

Also, I love that it is charged by solar power. So, no monkeying with cables trying to charge it at the roadside convenience store in the middle of nowhere!

Pros:

  • Replaces A LOT of devices
  • Garmin quality and navigation accuracy
  • Very accurate health measurements.

Cons:

  • Pricey
  • Slightly heavier than an average watch.

The Best GPS Smartwatch: Garmin Fenix 7 Solar: Conclusion

This is the best GPS (GLONASS and Galileo, too) smartwatch. It is designed for athletes and adventurers, from cross-fitters and surfers to trail runners and hikers.

If Inspector Gadget were a triathlon runner, jacked gym bro, fit cyclist, or a healthy lifestyle and longevity enthusiast, Garmin Fenix 7 Solar would sit on his writs.
