Marys River Beach



Marys River Park in Philomath, 7 miles west of Corvallis, is a peaceful 28-acre open space featuring trails, beach access, a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, and a playground.

Nestled between Highway 20 and the Marys River, the park is a peaceful place to connect with nature and explore outdoor activities in every season.

The natural-surface trails, featuring three bridges to cross, are perfect for hikers of all skill levels.

Marys River Park - Things to Do

A short 0.25-mile path leads to a small beach, perfect for relaxing by the water. In summer, the slow-moving river is warms up, making it an inviting spot for wading, swimming, and family water play.

Just steps from the parking area, the 9-hole disc-golf course offers a fun challenge for beginners and a great place to practice different throws.

The northern part of the park features an unfenced off-leash dog area, while in all other areas and on trails, dogs must be leashed.

A picnic shelter can be reserved through the city’s website, and flush restrooms are available from mid-April to mid-October.

  • Take Highway US-20 and travel west for about 5 miles to S 11th Street
  • Turn left onto S 11th Street and continue 0.3 miles to the park on the right.
