• Bear Creek is a great destination for summer outdoor activities
• Rocky wading and swimming spots
Bear Creek, once surrounded by lush old-growth forest, was impacted by the 2020 wildfire. While the landscape has changed, the park still offers picnicking, hiking, fishing, and swimming.
Trails lead to the river, with a stairway for easier access. A small, calm swimming hole remains, with rapids upstream and downstream.
The 15-site campground includes fire rings and picnic tables, with three accessible sites. Visitors should check current conditions before traveling.

Bear Creek Camping
As of May 15, 2024, Bear Creek Park has reopened for day-use following closures due to the 2020 wildfires. Camping is currently unavailable, with plans to reintroduce it in summer 2026.
