Surprise Valley Hot Springs is a pristine location for the secluded mineral water bathing experience as well as multiple outdoor activities in the Northern Sierras.

Surprise Valley is sited in the north-east corner of Nevada, bordering Oregon and California. Because of the location at the edge of three states, this area is called the Tricorner Region.

The hot springs resort offers suites, deluxe and standard rooms. Each standard and the deluxe room has its own outdoor tub with hot mineral water flowing directly into it. Most suite accommodations have indoor Jacuzzi tubs with hot springs water and every room has a full kitchen. The resort is for adults only, no minors are allowed. There is no internet access at the premises. The resort is for overnight guests only and rooms have to be reserved in advance.

In addition to mineral-rich water soaking, guests of the Surprise Valley Hot Spring Resort have plenty of other recreational opportunities.

The Massacre Rim Dark Sky Sanctuary is a location’s most unique attraction. This is one of ten such sanctuaries in a world for Dark Sky viewing and it is located just 30 miles to the east of the resort.

A pioneer town of Cedarville, numerous historical sites are within a short ride from the Surprise Valley Hot Springs. The golf course and Cedar Pass Ski Area are close by as well.
