The 98-acre park is situated on the northeastern edge of Foster Lake, 7 miles east of Sweet Home. The park amenities include RV hookups, camping, moorage, a boat ramp, picnic areas, a dog park, and a playground. Outdoor enthusiasts would also enjoy the various hiking trails and natural paths at the McDowell Creek County Park which is 6 miles away.

Sunnyside County Park is perfect for recreational or educational fishing opportunities, the lake is stocked with 40,000 trouts annually. Finally, coming to the main selling point of this location, Foster Reservoir is a major hot spot for water sports lovers. Jet skiing, boating, and water skiing are just some of the activities that are commonly seen along the waters of the reservoir. From I-5,

  • Take exit 228 for OR-34 East toward Lebanon
  • Turn left onto OR-34 East and follow 5.4 miles to Airport Drive
  • Merge onto Denny School Road on the right and continue onto Airport Drive for 2.2 miles to US-20
  • Turn right onto US-20 East/Main Street and drive for about 19 miles to Quartzville Road
  • Turn left onto Quartzville Road and follow 1.4 miles to the destination on the right.
